Description
This series of work is inspired by the microscopic world of plant cells – in particular, vascular bundles in plant stems. The pieces also explore the space in between these cells – the known and unknown.
The pieces feature various stoneware glazes in gloss, satin, dry, reactive and volcanic/crater glazes as well as engobe. No two pieces are the same.
All pieces were individually hand built in a stoneware clay body in my studio in Dublin.
NOT FOOD SAFE! These are decorative tabletop or wall pieces (should you wish each piece has a foot to hang it from).
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Would suit a residential, commercial or garden setting.
Each piece is unique; dimensions may vary as will the glaze finish.
