Puffball: From the Inside Out – extra large – stoneware ceramic outdoor sculpture. The extra large size pieces are 40cm in diameter and are priced at €695 each.
This piece is inspired by the internal structure of Puffball fungi and seascapes from the Burren in Co. Clare.
It is glazed on the inside in a beautiful blue/green glaze with cobalt flares. This reactive glaze responds to the folded surfaces in the clay – making each piece completely unique.
Hand sculpted and modelled in my studio in Dublin using a crank stoneware clay & high fired in an electric kiln to 1260°C.
Dimensions may vary as will the glaze finish.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Would suit a commercial, residential, garden, water feature or public setting. Installation costs are not included.
