Sculpture at the Castle 2016

I’m delighted that my ‘Fauna or Flora?’ sculpture has just been awarded ‘The Blarney Castle Award’ by Sir Charles Colthurst at the Blarney Castle Sculpture Trail 2016!

The seven piece sculpture is installed in the river at Castle garden.

The piece was inspired by orange peel fungi, sea slugs and lettuce coral, it was hand sculpted and modelled in a crank clay body and high fired in an electric kiln to 1260°C (Cone 8).
